ASJ Animal Transport

ASJ Pet Transport

ASJ Animal Transport in Middletown, CT started with very humble beginnings transporting kittens, puppies, and anything else that would safely travel inside....... a Honda Fit! Ever see a miniature horse in the back seat area of a Honda Fit? Many motorists were very confused when they saw a HORSE in a car on the Long Island Expressway!!!

In 2014 we added a 2-horse Brenderup trailer, a quality European import straightload with ramp along with a robust Ford Explorer as the tow vehicle. We routinely transport horses, donkeys, minis, alpacas, llamas, sheep, and goats. We provide hay, water, rest breaks, treats, and lots of TLC.

Owners/barn staff are responsible for loading and unloading - we find animals do best with someone they know and trust.

We do not run regular "routes" -- all our animal transports are customized to meet your needs. Drivers with bigger trailers may offer a lower price, but if they can't fill the trailer, your transport may not happen. When your load becomes a liability when the trailer is not full, or your location is too far out of the way, or local roads cannot accommodate a loaded, oversize tractor-trailer...... you get cancelled! Many of the big rigs will not come into New England due to traffic congestion, narrow roads, and high costs such as fuel, tolls, and the like. If you are having a horse transported cross-country, we will help coordinate a transfer with your long-haul carrier to transport your horse the rest of the way to your home.

Your critters will love us, and so will you!
